Gimansaara Daakaso

Gimansaara Daakaso

Born to a wealthy family in the town of Maraas-'o in the Mokoso Di-adaad region, Gimansaara Daakaso would go on to become one of the most infamous figures in Syan history. This is largely due to his position as jaar isala during the Gonsaa Dictatorship, as well as his eventual reign as jaar of the short-lived nation of Gonsaa-so.

1918-
Gimansaara Daakaso was born on the 3rd of August 1918 (his name at birth being Gimansaara Osanaakaado, which he kept until much later in his life). Gimansaara was born the only child of the wealthy railroad company owner Lyado Osanaakaado and his wife Liaani Mokomoko. Gimansaara's mother was part of the noble Mokomoko family, with her older brother Daranaas Mokomoko having served as the janaa of Ola-karaaka Island from 1880 up until 1938.

1950-
At the age of 32, Gimansaara moved to the then-capital city of Salilan-daal. During his years living in the capital, Gimansaara became aquaintances with an up-and-coming politician named Raadoaas Gonsaa and very soon they became close friends.

1957-
Lyado Osanaakaado died aged 89, leaving his entire fortune to his only child Gimansaara Osanaakaado. Much of this wealth was used to support the political career of his friend Raadoaas, who soon after changed his name to Daakas to distance himself from his father, who had been embroiled in a large and publicly known fraud scandal.

1962-
Daakas Gonsaa began to campaign for himself to be the new jaar isala, after the previous had died a year prior. As a well known figure due to his fortune and status as head of the Osanaakaado railway company, Gimansaara Osanaakaado openly endorsed Gonsaa to both the reigning jaar and to the public. In the summer of that year, Aran Salilan appointed Daakas Gonsaa as his new jaar isala, causing Gonsaa to be indebted to Gimansaara for cementing his place at the top of the political ladder.

1974-
After several years of subpar leadership, Aran Salilan was deposed as jaar by the Baa Di-syana. This meant that Daakas Gonsaa would ascend to be Syana's new monarch, marking the start of the Gonsaa Dictatorship. One of Gonsaa's first acts as jaar was to declare that the jaar isala need not be a serving member of the Syan government, a move which allowed him to appoint the position to his lifelong ally Gimansaara Osanaakaado. Gimansaara was so grateful for this that he changed his name to Gimansaara Daakaso, to show his respect for the new jaar.

1978-
Due to the structure of the Baa Di-gonsaa, Gimansaara Daakaso had unprecedented power over the laws and public policies of syana. As long as his close friend the jaar approved, he could pass any law with minimal resistance from the rest of the government. This meant he was able to pass many laws which he deemed as beneficial to the nation. The most infamous of these laws was the 1978 "law for the removal of impurities", which stated that babies born with serious disabilities were legally required to be euthanised immediately. This blatant embrace of eugenics caused outrage within both Syan citizens as well as the rest of the world.
